Kylie Jenner’s family has given their blessing for her to date Timothée Chalamet, according to reports.
The couple apparently began dating after meeting at the Jean-Paul Gaultier fashion show in January, and Timothée has already been introduced to Kylie’s mother, Kris Jenner, and sister, Kendall Jenner.
According to a source, Kylie’s famous family “absolutely approves” of her current boyfriend because she’s finally met someone who “makes her smile.”
Kylie was previously reported to be dating rapper Travis Scott, with whom she shares two children, Stormi, five, and Aire, one.
“Kylie’s family members, including Kris and Kendall, have met Timothée.”
“They really like him and think he’s different from anyone Kylie has previously dated. He has a terrific sense of humor, and he makes her smile, which is the most important thing to them,” according to the insider.
They also told Us Weekly, “They love seeing how happy she is and absolutely approve of them dating.”
The family’s permission comes after Kylie and Timothée were photographed together for the first time since dating rumors initially surfaced.
After Kylie flew back from Paris, they met up again in Los Angeles.
Kylie and Timothée agreed to meet at his Beverly Hills home, with the beauty mogul pictured wearing a white crop top and black leggings before changing into an all-black outfit.
Despite not being a smoker, she was seen with a pack of cigarettes and an ashtray in her hand.
Timothée and his older sister Pauline were among Kylie’s friends.
According to the Daily Mail, the new couple has been spending “up to six days a week” together as their romance grows.
Despite the fact that their romance appears to be heating up, a source has stated that it is “not serious” and that Kylie’s “main focus is being a mum.”
“They have a really fun and flirty exchange between them, and he makes Kylie smile,” said the source.
“Kylie enjoys hanging out with Timothée and seeing where it goes,” according to another source.
Apparently dispelling rumors that Kylie and Timothée are not “seriously” linked, a source told Us Weekly that the couple has become “much closer.”
“Kylie and Timothée have been spending much more time together, and they’re growing much closer as the days go by,” an insider revealed.
“They both have incredibly busy schedules, so they initially relied mostly on communicating via FaceTime, and texting because they couldn’t always make time to see each other,” the source noted.
According to the publication, the Kardashians star and Timothee’s willingness to communicate “helped solidify their bond.”
Following Jenner’s breakup with on-again, off-again boyfriend Travis Scott, news came in spring 2023 that the Kardashians star and the Oscar nominee were spending time together.
“Kylie has only hung out with Timothée a couple of times, so things aren’t that serious,” a source confirmed to Us Weekly in April 2023.
As she pursued a connection with the Dune star, the Keeping Up With the Kardashians alum leaned into dating someone outside her comfort zone.
According to a second insider, Jenner loved the “fun and flirty” interaction between her and the Call Me By Your Name star as the months proceeded.
