Ben Affleck remained tight-lipped when questioned about Britney Spears’ recent claim that they shared a kiss years ago.
The 51-year-old actor was spotted strolling in Santa Monica on Friday, February 9, as captured by footage obtained by TMZ. Affleck appeared cheerful as he exchanged greetings with photographers, but his demeanor shifted when probed about the validity of Spears’ remarks. Without providing any comment, Affleck simply looked away from the camera and continued on his way, eventually driving off without addressing the topic further.
Earlier in the week, Spears, 42, caused a stir when she shared a throwback photo featuring herself, Affleck, and Diane Warren. In the Instagram post, Spears alleged that she and Affleck had shared a kiss on the same night the snapshot was taken.
“Cool pic of me and Ben Affleck and Diane Warren years ago!!!” Spears captioned the black and white throwback pic. “He’s such an amazing actor. Did I fail to mention I made out with Ben that night … I honestly forgot … damn that’s crazy!!!”
After garnering attention, Spears later deleted the post, leaving fans speculating about the nature of her relationship with Affleck.
