In a heartwarming display of compassion, Jennifer Garner showed her caring side as she reached out to a homeless man in Los Angeles on a sunny Sunday.
The 51-year-old actress engaged in a heartfelt conversation with a man in a wheelchair, situated in the parking lot of a Santa Monica beach. Garner went above and beyond, offering him a care package filled with essential items.
But her generosity didn’t stop there. Upon noticing that the man was barefoot, she leaped out of her car to assist him in putting on a pair of warm socks. What’s more, she even tried to give him the shoes off her very own feet.
The star of “13 Going On 30,” who had shared an affectionate moment with her ex-husband, Ben Affleck, just the day before, didn’t stop at footwear. Garner also generously provided the man with food and some cash.
In a touching moment captured on video, she was seen conversing with a photographer, expressing her willingness to purchase his shoes, as her own were a size too small for the homeless man. When the photographer declined payment and offered his shoes for free, he didn’t stop there. He also handed Garner a spare change of clothes and a blanket to give to the man.
In the video clip, you can hear Garner asking the photographer for assistance in helping the homeless man change into his fresh set of clothes. She then showed him the carefully packaged goodie bag filled with essential items, even opening a packet of food to hand to the man.
Garner, a mother of three, appeared to be on her way home after a beach stroll, dressed in casual workout attire comprising a white T-shirt, dark camouflage leggings, and a trucker cap. She sported a pair of aqua-colored sneakers, which she willingly offered to the man despite them being a few sizes too small.
While Jennifer Garner is celebrated for her acting prowess on the silver screen, she also uses her prominent platform for acts of goodwill. For more than a decade, she has been associated with Save the Children, a global nonprofit dedicated to the welfare of children’s health, education, and protection.
