Selena Gomez, the 31-year-old multi-hyphenate sensation whose Hulu series “Only Murders In The Building” is taking the world by storm, has finally spilled the beans on those simmering rumors of a feud with none other than pop star Dua Lipa.
In an exclusive interview with Fast Company, Selena addressed the Instagram unfollow that sent shockwaves across the internet. She revealed, “It was an accident! I was just tidying up my Instagram, and then someone called me, like, ‘What’s going on with Dua?!'” 📱💬
Selena took to Instagram to prove that there’s absolutely no bad blood between her and Dua Lipa. She shared a jaw-dropping picture of herself in a mesmerizing Versace outfit, captioned “A little Versace/Dua moment.”
Lipa, who’s 28 years old and clearly delighted by the response, couldn’t resist chiming in and responded to Gomez’s post with “angeeeeeeeel!!!!” 🙌
Selena has since re-followed Dua Lipa, but she hasn’t extended the same courtesy to other celebrities she previously unfollowed, including Zayn Malik, Gigi Hadid, and Bella Hadid. Yet, sources say there’s no drama to see here – it’s all love. “There are absolutely no hard feelings with anyone she unfollowed,” an insider told People in June.
The decision to unfollow Malik came after rumors swirled about their potential romance. However, before hitting that unfollow button, Selena clarified on TikTok that she was indeed single. The reasons behind unfollowing 28-year-old Gigi, who shares a 3-year-old daughter named Khai with Malik, remain a mystery, but social media activities might offer some clues.
These four are close pals, and their friendship began through mutual bestie Taylor Swift.
In other news, Selena Gomez recently couldn’t contain her admiration for the stunning Beckham family as they gathered together for the launch of Netflix’s documentary, “Beckham.”
The London premiere saw David Beckham and former Spice Girl Victoria standing united alongside their four children: Brooklyn, 24, Romeo, 21, Cruz, 18, and Harper, 12. The picture-perfect family was also joined by Brooklyn’s wife, Nicola Peltz Beckham, and Romeo’s girlfriend, Mia Regan.
And guess what? Selena Gomez couldn’t help but gush over this harmonious gathering. She commented, “Most beautiful family,” in sheer awe of the Beckhams standing as one. 🌟💖
Selena is especially close to Nicola and Brooklyn, and she humorously refers to the three of them as a ‘throuple.’ 🤣
Prior to the London premiere of the Netflix documentary, Selena Gomez had a chic week in Paris, where she spent time with Nicola and Brooklyn. The trio was seen attending soccer games, enjoying fancy dinners, and exploring the City of Light together. 🇫🇷✨
After the premiere, Brooklyn took to Instagram to express his pride in his father with an adorable post. “I am so proud of you dad x @davidbeckham x congratulations x what a beautiful night [heart emojis],” he wrote, accompanied by a family photo. He concluded with a heartfelt, “Love you so much xx.”
