Trevor Noah Makes History as the Fourth-Time Host of the Grammy Awards

The Grammy Awards are known for celebrating the best in music, but they also have a tradition of showcasing some of the most talented and hilarious hosts in the entertainment industry. And for the fourth year in a row, the host of the biggest night in music will be none other than Trevor Noah, the Emmy-winning comedian and host of The Daily Show.

Noah, who made his debut as the Grammy host in 2021, is the first person to host the show four times in a row, breaking the record previously held by LL Cool J, who hosted the show three times consecutively from 2012 to 2014. Noah is also a producer for the 2024 Grammy Awards, which will take place on Sunday, Feb. 4, at Crypto.com Arena in Los Angeles.

“I’m honored and excited to be back hosting the Grammy Awards for the fourth time,” Noah said in a statement. “It’s been an amazing journey to share the stage with some of the most incredible artists in the world, and I can’t wait to see what surprises and performances the Grammys have in store for us this year.”

Noah has proven to be a versatile and engaging host, who can balance humor, commentary, and musical appreciation. In his previous hosting gigs, he has delivered memorable monologues, interviewed nominees and winners, and even performed a rap song with Megan Thee Stallion. He has also earned praise from critics and fans alike for his witty and relevant jokes, his rapport with the artists, and his ability to adapt to the changing circumstances of the pandemic.

The 2024 Grammy Awards will feature performances by some of the biggest names in music, as well as the announcement of the winners in 86 categories, spanning across genres, styles, and regions. The nominees for the 2024 Grammy Awards will be revealed on Tuesday, Jan. 9, in a live-streamed event hosted by Noah and featuring special guests.

The 2024 Grammy Awards will air live on CBS and Paramount+ on Sunday, Feb. 4, at 8 p.m. ET / 5 p.m. PT. The show will also be available to stream on demand and on Hulu. For more information, visit grammy.com
