The star of Euphoria, who just turned 26, pulled off an epic ‘80s prom-themed birthday celebration over the weekend that has everyone talking.
Sweeney gave us a sneak peek of the festivities on her Instagram Story, sharing a fabulous filtered snapshot of mirrored disco balls and pink curtains hanging from the ceiling.
The rest of the soirée was equally dazzling, as she reposted her friends’ Instagram Stories from the night. The party featured the signature ‘80s decor, complete with a sparkling dance floor, balloon displays, and a banner that read “Syd’s Prom” in pink letters against shimmering metallic fringe.
For her grand entrance, Sydney rocked a bright pink mini dress with puffy sleeves that screamed ‘80s chic, and her voluminous blonde curls and accessories – a cute bow-adorned handbag and platform heels – completed the retro look.
Camila Mendes and Barbie actress Ariana Greenblatt documented the moment when Sweeney stood next to her multicolored three-layer cake while the crowd serenaded her with a melodramatic rendition of “Happy Birthday.” Sydney blew out the candles, raised her arm in triumph, and even threw an air-kiss to the adoring crowd.
