Khloe Kardashian has just turned 40 and marked her milestone birthday with a denim and diamonds bash, inspired by Dolly Parton’s Dollywood. Guests were treated to a night of high-energy entertainment, with Snoop Dogg himself making a surprise appearance. Khloe’s sister Kim captured the moment on social media, revealing that Khloe had “no idea @snoopdogg was coming, so this made her whole night.” Snoop, Kurupt, and Warren G brought down the house, performing hits like “Ain’t No Fun” while pole dancers dazzled in the background.
In true Kardashian fashion, Khloe’s guest list was a who’s who of reality TV royalty and industry insiders. Right by Khloe’s side was her older sister Kim Kardashian who has been her rock since they both became mothers. Also present were her sister Kourtney, their mom Kris Jenner and WAGS veterans Olivia Pierson and Natalie Halcro. Sports Illustrated Swimsuit model Nicole Williams English was also in attendance.
When it came time to present the massive wedding-style cake, which was propped up on a stand made from boxes of Duncan Hines cake mixes, Khloe jumped on stage in her denim Daisy Dukes and chaps outfit, bouncing to the beat.
The Kardashians are known for their fashion-forward looks, and Khloe’s 40th was no exception. Khloe herself went all out for her birthday look. She donned a strapless, denim corset adorned with sparkling rhinestones, paired with cutout jeans and a denim cowgirl hat.
Kourtney Kardashian and her husband, Travis Barker, turned heads with their coordinated denim outfits. Kourtney rocked a long button-down shirt as a dress with black stockings, while Travis looked laid-back in a matching denim shirt and light blue jeans. They even shared a sweet moment dancing together, which Kourtney posted on her Instagram Stories.
The venue was decked out to the nines with a “Khloewood” sign, inflatable pink furniture, and tables covered in pink and white checkered cloths. Guests sipped on signature cocktails named after the birthday girl, featuring sister Kendall Jenner’s 818 tequila. Drinks like the Espress-Khlo Martini and the Show Me the Khlo-Money kept the party going.
Despite the glitz and glamour, there was a sense of déjà vu. The Kardashians’ parties, with their rotating themes and impeccable styling, are starting to feel a bit… tired. Britney Spears did denim and diamonds over 20 years ago, and, dare we say, she did it better.
Moreover, the guest list was a little too predictable. Family members, paid staff, and a few industry insiders do not make for a particularly diverse or exciting group. They all looked eerily similar, like they had been assembled from the same assembly line of beauty standards.
