Dancing with the Stars: Julianne Hough Spills the Beans on Harry Jowsey and Rylee Arnold’s Romance

It was Disney Night on Dancing with the Stars, and the celebrities and their pro partners delivered some magical performances inspired by classic and new animated films. But there was also some drama and romance on the dance floor, as co-host Julianne Hough seemingly outed one couple as “lovebirds,” and a surprise guest joined another pair for a jazz routine.

The couple in question was Harry Jowsey, the star of Netflix’s Too Hot to Handle, and Rylee Arnold, the younger sister of pro dancer Lindsay Arnold. The duo danced a quickstep to “You’ve Got a Friend in Me” from Toy Story and earned rave reviews from the judges. However, before they took the stage, Julianne introduced them as “lovebirds Harry and Rylee”, which caused some awkwardness and confusion among the audience and the other contestants.

Harry and Rylee have not officially confirmed their relationship status, but they have been spotted together on several occasions and have posted flirty comments on each other’s social media accounts. They also shared a hug and a kiss after their performance, which added more fuel to the romance rumors.

The surprise guest of the night was Barry Williams, who played Greg Brady on The Brady Bunch. He joined Peta Murgatroyd, who was paired with actor James Van Der Beek, for a jazz routine to “He’s a Tramp” from Lady and the Tramp. Barry and Peta portrayed two dogs who fell in love at a park, while James played a waiter who served them spaghetti. The judges praised their creativity and chemistry and gave them high scores.

The other dances of the night included:

  • Mira Sorvino and Gleb Savchenko: Paso doble to “Be Prepared” from The Lion King
  • Zendaya Coleman and Val Chmerkovskiy: Foxtrot to “A Whole New World” from Aladdin
  • Tom Holland and Sharna Burgess: Samba to “I Just Can’t Wait to Be King” from The Lion King
  • Jennifer Lopez and Derek Hough: Waltz to “Beauty and the Beast” from Beauty and the Beast
  • Chris Hemsworth and Witney Carson: Tango to “Night on Bald Mountain” from Fantasia
  • Selena Gomez and Mark Ballas: Cha-cha to “We Don’t Talk Anymore” from Encanto
  • Dwayne Johnson and Emma Slater: Jive to “You’re Welcome” from Moana

At the end of the night, one celebrity had to say goodbye to the ballroom. Based on the judges’ scores and the viewers’ votes, the bottom two couples were Mira Sorvino and Gleb Savchenko and Zendaya Coleman and Val Chmerkovskiy. The judges had to decide who to save, and they chose Zendaya and Val, which meant that Mira and Gleb were eliminated.

Mira thanked her partner, the judges, and the fans for their support and said that she had a wonderful time on the show. She also wished good luck to the remaining contestants, who will face another challenge next week: Halloween Night. Let us know which performance you admire the most in the comment section.
